Oracle client library installation

Install Oracle Instant Client

1. Download Oracle Instant Client packages
   Download the Oracle Instant Client installation package from the official Oracle website.
   Windows (x64) installation package (opens new window)
   Linux (x64) installation package (opens new window)
   macOS (ARM64) installation package (opens new window)

2. Install Oracle Instant Client
   Follow the installation steps to install Oracle Instant Client.

   MacOS installation guide (opens new window)

3. Configure environment variables (Optional)

   export ORACLE_HOME=<Oracle install path>/instantclient_23_7
   export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME:$PATH
   

4. Configure the Oracle Instant Client installation directory
   Set the Oracle Instant Client installation directory in the Kangaroo configuration dialog:
   Kangaroo App -> Preferences -> External -> Oracle OCI Library Directory -> Enter the path or click the button to select the Oracle Instant Client installation directory.
